Professor Simpson, Vice-President, read the following telegram from Dr Brewis:?" Teneriffe.?Please express at meeting President's sorrow for Society's loss," and said:?In the absence of our President the sorrowful duty falls on me to try to say something as to the sense we all feel of the loss, the great loss, the Society has sustained through the death of Dr Milne Murray. It is more than a year since pneumonia laid him low and deprived us of his bright and always stimulating presence.
